Ocean Park is part of Old Orchard Beach Town of York County, Maine, and is part of Maine's "Golden Riviera." The ocean activity in the Gulf of Maine gives this area more moderate summer temperature and warmer winter temperatures than expected at this northern latitude. The average summer temperature is in the 70's, and winter days on the coast average 32 degrees.
Next door to The Pines is a part of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge, which is easily accessed via the Ted Wells Memorial Trail
